Charity paddle to raise money for WaterAid

Two canoeists, from the Midlands, are paddling an Open Canadian Canoe down the length of the River Severn, to raise money for charity.

Stephen Fraser and Mick Barker will paddle approximately 130 miles, from Pool Quay in Wales to the Severn Estuary in Gloucestershire, to raise money for WaterAid. The challenge, which starts on May 29, should take 8 days to complete.

WaterAid is an international, non-governmental organisation. They improve access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the third world, running over 15 programmers in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region.

If you’d like to sponsor Stephen and Mick, please donate via their JustGiving page at http://www.justgiving.com/severnin8
