Chris Kelly MP joined Conservative Councillors Geoff Southall, Glenis Simms and Patrick Harley at Stourbridge Arm Canoe Club on Saturday afternoon to join in with the planting of new hedge plants.
Mark Harding, Chairman of the Club, said: "The Club was very pleased to welcome Chris Kelly MP and Councillors Simms, Southall and Harley to help us celebrate our silver anniversary year by planting the hedge. Our thanks extend to The Woodland Trust who kindly donated the trees as part of their Community Trees programme. I am sure the next 25 years will be as successful as the last.”

Chris Kelly MP said: “I was delighted to return to the Club so soon after my last visit when I paddled to Stourbridge and back with members before the clocks went back for the winter months. I congratulate Mark and the team on all they have achieved for our community in the past 25 years and wish them all the very best for the next 25. They really are the Big Society in action.”
