Canoe Trails

We Need Your Help!
We are currently updating the trails on our website.  Each trail will be linked to regions and follow the course of a canal/river etc.

If you have anything you can offer please contact  access@bcu.org.uk We would also be happy to accept pictures of the areas the trail goes through. We will be building this up over months, if not years!!!

The trails need:-

  1. Heading – From going to on what stretch of water
  2. Start – Name of starting point with postcode and or OS Grid Reference
  3. Length -  Number of miles/portage (suitability for those with ambulant problems?)
  4. Licence – Is one needed or is it covered by Canoe England Membership
  5. Duration – How long should it take?
  6. Type of Water If appropriate and with skill level needed
  7. Finish Point - Name of finish with postcode and or OS Grid Reference

The Canoe Trails listed below, are arranged by region.
Please Note
The Canoe Trails have been submitted by BCU members. The BCU have not carried out risk assessments and cannot take liability for any accidents, damage or loss of property whilst paddling on these trails.
