BCU Coaching Courses as part of Continuous Professional Development for Teachers

What is “Coaching for Teachers”?
Coaching for teachers is an initiative to improve the quality of teaching, coaching and learning in PE and School sport. It is aimed at teachers and adults other than teachers (AOTTs) who contribute to school sport through the extended curriculum.

The Coaching for Teachers programme provides opportunities for teachers involved in the delivery of extra-curricular school sport to improve their teaching and coaching, update their knowledge by attending sports governing body courses, and obtain qualifications.

Who is it for?
These courses are for primary, and secondary, PE specialist or non PE specialist teachers and Adults Other Than Teachers (AOTTs), who contribute to school sport through the extended curriculum. It is now part of the National PE and School Sport Professional Development Programme for Teachers and Others in England.
