General Information:
As you should now be aware the
BCU is modernising its coaching qualifications and education programmes
in line with the UKCC Coaching Certificate (UKCC) developments. While
work continues on the detail of the learning programme outline to be
mapped to the UKCC we are also required to modernise our Coach Educator
Scheme to ensure that this also meets the UKCC endorsement criteria. This
modernisation will require varying amounts of re-training for existing
coaches as well as require a new perspective for new coaches entering
the scheme. The attached document describes the requirements for Coach Educators and Assessors of our UKCC awards.
