The International Canoe is a highly developed racing dinghy, being the world’s fastest single mono-hull, with a unique feature of a sliding seat that enables the helms person to place their weight a long way out from the side of the hull. The competitions entered are class or handicap races organised by sailing clubs. Racing is held on the sea, estuaries, reservoirs and lakes, but coaching is best done on inland water.
