Candidates who completed the BCU Level 2 Training in either Canoe or Kayak prior September 2007 (when the BCU UKCC Awards were introduced) are able to proceed to assessment, whilst their trainee status remains valid. Assessments in the old scheme will continue until October 2010, by which time all trainees will have expired.
