Candidates who completed the BCU Level 3 Training in either Canoe, Sea, Surf, or Inland Kayak prior May 2008 are able to proceed to assessment, whilst their trainee status remains valid. Assessments in the old scheme will continue until the end of December 2010, by which time all trainees will have expired.
