Canoe England operational and strategic planning, policies, support for volunteer Waterway Advisors and guidance for access and environmental issues in England is implemented by the Waterways and Environment Operations Group (WEOG). The group has a wide remit in this area extending into regulation, legislation and liaison with Government Departments, navigation authorities, agencies, non-governmental organisations and the sport and recreation sector.
