Have you seen canoeing on the television or in the Olympics and want to give it a go?
Why not start canoeing as a new family activity?
Canoe England Clubs are running a series of taster sessions for absolute beginners- you don’t need any experience, kit or special skills and it is suitable for everyone from 8 years old to 80 years old!
Canoeing (or paddling as some people call it) is a great activity, for everyone, you can relax in a boat and view nature in the surrounding area or you can make it a real challenge and use it as a work out.
There are lots of different types of canoeing which means there will be something for everyone's personal taste and ability.

Go Paddling Programme
What does the 'Go Paddling Programme' involve?
The aim of the programme is to ‘help and inspire people to go paddling’ and this will be achieved by your club/ centre providing a positive and welcoming paddling experience within a managed environment. Each club/ centre will be encouraged to provide a taster event at a time which suits you. If you already provide taster sessions we are not asking you to put on more, just that you let us know when and where you have them so we can help you promote them. If you do not already run taster sessions maybe it is something your club/ centre could look into doing.
What support do we get from Canoe England?
